Off the Planet
These series of object were made on a masters at The Royal College of Art 2011/13, an MA in Ceramics and Glass. The objects are slip-cast, glazed and treated with colour. The process used here to slip-cast uses glass equipment to cut and polish the bisc earthenware ceramic. The parts of the object are glazed and fired, then assembled. The research into these objects start with an interest in Si-Fi and the third dimensions of time and space that we see ourselves in.
They also explore a deep interest in univeral principles and the cosmos at large.
